PLP Port Salford is a proposed new 5 million sq ft multi modal logistics hub served by road, rail and water.
Phase 1 is already home to two existing logistics facilities occupied by Great Bear (280,000 sq ft) and Rhenus (50,000 sq ft). The remainder of the 1.5 million sq ft outline planning consent can be brought forward for occupiers on a build to suit basis.
Phase 2 of the scheme totalling a further 3.5 million sq ft will make this arguably the most significant logistics development within the North West.

PLP Port Salford is strategically located near Trafford Park industrial estate as well as key motorway routes including the M60 and the M62, placing it at the heart of the Greater Manchester connurbation.
The vision is for it to become a multi-modal location providing access to rail via a proposed new railfreight terminal and an inland container port situated on the Manchester Ship Canal enabling containers to be transported along the 37 mile canal to the Port of Liverpool and onward to global destinations by sea.
